…..age 72, went to the Church Triumphant on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Symphony Assisted Living in Bay City.

Allen was born March 27, 1948, in Pigeon, to Edward and Aldine (Kaatz) Welther. After graduating from Sebewaing High School in 1966, he joined the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He married Deborah Louise Jolly on January 23, 1993. He worked as a machine press operator for Saginaw Steering Gear for 33-34 years. He enjoyed motorcycles, motorcycle runs and was a member of the Thunder Across the Thumb. Allen also enjoyed traveling, vacationing, camping, scuba diving and taking videos and pictures of underwater photography. He also enjoyed working for Thumb Salvage, working on computers, boating and watching sunsets on the beach.

Allen is survived by his wife, Deborah; children: Jeff (Beth) Welther, Debbie (Brian) Highway, Jodi (Scott) Norcross and Ronnie (Vince) Oliver; grandchildren: Donald (fiancé Sarah) Rebecca, Shelby, Dominic, Katelyn and Hunter; siblings: Joyce (Richard) Poppe, Kenneth (Dorothy) Welther and Larry Welther; and many nieces and nephews.
