The Seventh Sunday of Easter

"Mother's Day"

May 12, 2013

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY
.....On this special day we give thanks for the wonderful and godly women who are such a blessing to their families and to this congregation. When St. Paul wrote to Timothy, his young associate, the Apostle told him, "I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well."  (2 Tim 1:5)  Just as Timothy's mother and grandmother were a blessing to him in his life of faith so we praise God for the faithful women who lead their children and grand- children closer to Jesus and show His love in all they do
