Immanuel Lutheran Church is a congregation of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod
Our mission statement is:
Faithful to God’s Word – we receive, celebrate, and share Jesus Christ.
Faithful to God's Word We believe that the Holy Scriptures are God's infallable Word which reveal Jesus Christ, who is the only Savior for all people. Every teaching, belief, and practice of Immanuel congregation must be grounded in this perfect Word and faithful to His revealed will.
We recieve...Jesus Christ We are always on the recieving end of God's goodness and grace. Since all people are born in sin and would be lost forever unless redeemed by God in Jesus Christ we could never give anything to God in order to earn His favor or the promise of His heaven. God loved the world so much that He gave His Son do die for us. He gave...we recieved. Every Sunday God gives us His gifts of Word and Sacrament in the Divine Service. We recieve God's unmerited love and forgiveness in Jesus Christ in the sure and certian promise of eternal life.
We celebrate...Jesus Christ God's goodness and mercy leads us to give Him thanks and praise. We celebrate God's goodness in corporate worship and in lives of service to God and our neighbors.
We share...Jesus Christ The good news of God's love in Christ is too good to keep to ourselves. What God has done must be shared through our personal witness and by the support of mission work throughout the world.
