…..age 64, went to the Church Triumphant on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at McLaren Flint Medical Center.

Robert was born on April 8, 1957, to Robert and Anna (Severn) Pillsbury. After high school, Robert entered into the United States Army working as a cook. He married Tammie Sue Naffien on June 28, 1982. She preceded him in death on October 7, 2016. They are continuing their love story up in heaven.

Robert retired from Tower Automotive in 2010 after working for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, his dogs, watching the Detroit Tigers, going for long walks in Caseville, spending time with his grandsons, and riding 4 wheelers with his brother-in-law, Eric Naffien. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing.

Robert is survived by his three daughters: Crystal (Joel) Dressler, Amanda (James) Heckroth and Amber (James Kollman) Pillsbury’ grandsons: Grayson and Wyatt Heckroth; 2 sisters: Debbie Harris and Beth Pillsbury; and nieces and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Tammie; and aunt and uncle, John and Genevieve Abbe.

MEMORIALS: May be given to the family, Thumb Animal Shelter, or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
